I think it would perfectly match my bedraggled Corvette. My hope is that the value of a rusty Ghibli without its original engine could be found in the $40k range. I’d swap in a later 5.0L Maserati V8 from an early 80's Quattroporte and leave the exterior looking like it had been dragged from a shipwreck.

Up the ante with a biturbo swap.

Good call sir!
Could always get a rough later ‘Vette and Roadkill Vette-cart-ize it as well! :P

No way. That old 1950's F1 Maserati V8 is the whole attraction.

I could, but the body lines are the whole attraction of the C3 for me. Removing that lessens the appeal.

Nice! Ghibli’s are awesome cars. Is that actually for sale somewhere?
I have pretty good idea what could be made from that.

Fine. Northstar and transaxle mid-mounted.

It was for sale in NY about a year ago. That racer looks a bit too Daytona-esque for me. Still cool!

God, no! I would never remove a quad-weber Italian V8 to replace it with a mid 00's FWD luxo car engine.

You can put webers on a N*, but really you should be converting it over to Lucas Fuel Injection.

Nah nah. You need a ratty Iso Grifo to pair with the Corvette.

Typically I’m a fan of ratty cars on occasion, but I love the Grifo too much for this. It looks like it’s crying for help, I need to save it
